KANDY - ELEPHANT ORPHANAGE AND TOOTH RELIC

GALLE DAY TOUR

Enjoy a full day tour of the historic port of Galle . This charming city has a strong colonial past with both the Dutch and the Portuguese leaving their mark. The 90 acre Dutch fort is the main attraction with its lighthouse, towering ramparts and colonial buildings. Travel to Hikkaduwa and visit a Mask Factory or Batik Factory enroute, even stop off at the Turtle hatchery by the beach! In Hikkaduwa see the Coral Reef by glass bottom boat with ramparts and relax with some lunch and shopping.

RATNAPURA - CITY OF SPARKLING GEMS TOUR

Leave after breakfast for the City of Gems via Avissawella and Eheliyagoda. Ratnapura houses the worlds richest treasure of rare sparkling precious and semi precious stones. In the afternoon walk the city's narrow streets with it's many jewel shops. Later visit the gem pits, mines and the Gem Museum . In the evening return to Colombo .
